Vampire Diaries launches on ITV2

After the amazing success of Twilight, it seems many people have got a taste for vampire adventures and if you are one of them, then you will probably enjoy the latest series to hit ITV2.

The Vampire Diaries begins on Tuesday night. It tells the story of a girl who falls in love with vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore. The three live in the fictional town of Mystic Falls in Virginia.

The Vampire Diaries has already proved to be a major success in America, having become the best performing show on the CW Network.

Paul Wesley who plays Stefan reckons it is an exciting series.

“Expect nothing by the unexpected,” he said.
