Rogue Events are holding a convention for The Vampire Diaries under the name Insurgence 4: The Reckoning. This will be the 3rd TVD event for the company. The event will take place from 22nd – 24th June 2012 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, England, and guests already confirmed to appear are Daniel Gillies, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder, with more still to be announced.

We run fan pages on Twitter and Facebook (@TVDI4) trying to promote this con, and are trying to spread the word as much as we possibly can amongst the TVD fans. We write to ask whether you would consider posting details of this event on your website, Twitter or Facebook so that it can reach a far wider audience. Unfortunately the United Kingdom events don’t receive the same publicity as the American conventions do and we would hate for fans of the show to miss out on this event. Throughout Europe the fandom is known as ‘lacking in support’ throughout event holders. As part of the fandom, we want to prove the wrong and show that TVD fans are fully supportive of the show and cast.
