The Vampire Diaries Teaser #4: A Life-Saving Gesture

Posted by Angela with No Comments

A significant character will say goodbye to Mystic Falls.

A major secret will be revealed.

A former setting will be revisited.

Those are the three teases I’ve given so far about tomorrow night’s new episode of The Vampire Diaries, having been fortunate enough to view it last weekend. Anxious for another? I thought you might be…

Hot Face to Hot Face

One character will save the life of another.

And he or she will be in quite a bit of pain afterward, as well. This event will lead to further developments later in the episode and later in the season, but that’s all I can say at the moment. Let your mind wander, take your best guess and get psyched: one more day, TVD fans. One more day.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham: Could Bonnie hook up with Klaus?

Posted by Angela with No Comments

tvd-bonnie.jpgAfter taking a backseat for several episodes, Bonnie and her witchy powers are back in full force when “The Vampire Diaries” returns to The CW on Thursday, Jan. 5. Zap2it caught up with Kat Grahamto dish about all the exciting things coming up for her character.

The only obstacle: Not spoiling too much about upcoming episodes. “I don’t even tell my boyfriend anything,” Graham says when we try to squeeze a little too much information out of her. “He’s always like, ‘What’s gonna happen?’ because I got him addicted to the show. And I don’t even tell him a thing. He has no idea what’s going on.”
Here’s what we didget her to share:

Tell us about Bonnie and Stefan teaming up.
You know, it’s kind of an odd pairing — but then not so odd because Stefan kind of comes into a situation where he needs to turn to Bonnie for help. Bonnie is never really forced into anything, and sometimes I think it’s perceived that way because she’s such a sweet character. But this is a choice that Bonnie wants to make for the greater good of all, so she teams up with Stefan to accomplish that. So she really weighs the options before entering into this agreement.
I think that with “The Vampire Diaries” you never know what’s going to happen, and I don’t think the characters necessarily know either. So you can only weigh so much, and then it might just come down to “kill or be killed.”

The show always comes down to that, doesn’t it? Elsewhere in Bonnie land, she was deeply hurt by Jeremy but obviously still cares about him. How is she dealing with the breakup?
Well, I love that it’s a very human side to her. If they went kind of “all-powerful, unstoppable witch, fearless, fierce all the time,” I think it would bore people and maybe have them turn against her. So the fact that there’s still a pain there, that has kind of awakened her. It makes her human; it makes her relatable; it makes her real.

Will she be getting another love interest soon?
You know, I don’t know which way they’re going with it. I enjoy the pairing and I love that they explored a more sexual side to Bonnie. I love exploring that side of the character, but I’m also happy being independent and not necessarily being the character that needs a man. So I love that she’s a little heartbroken right now and she’s mending it solo. But I would love to see — there’s so many quote unquote ‘shippings of Bonnie with everyone from, like, Damon to Klaus, so I think that really could go any which way. It just depends on what they are inspired to do with her.

Could you really see Bonnie with Klaus? It seems like she would have none of that.
No, I could! You never know! It could go any way. The fact that she wouldn’t have any of it and the fact that she’s anti-bullshit would also make for a strong pairing because it’s that “hate you so much, kiss me” kind of thing. I believe that it could go any way with any character, honestly. If you have enough imagination and creativity and you do it without any holes, I think it could be done well.

Well, the writers have proven that you can’t really predict anything on this show anyway.
No, no way.

Tell us a little bit more about Bonnie’s mom coming to town.
They cast Persia White, who I’ve always loved and adored, as my mom, and she comes into the picture and I go on a hunt to find her and finally get to see her. It’s intersting, that relationship. It’s interesting to see develop, I will say that.

Is Bonnie guarded when her mom arrives?
I think Bonnie’s guarded, period. I think she’s always been guarded, even from the pilot. Guarded about accepting that she’s a descendant from the Salem witches. Guarded about Elena dating Stefan. Guarded about Damon. She’s always been written to be somewhat skeptical. So when her mother comes in, I don’t think there’s any difference there. I think that it’s all about “prove yourself.” There has to be a reason to why she hasn’t seen her for 15 years, and you get to find that watching the show.

What else can you tell us about Bonnie’s relationship with her mom?
I will say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and that what would eventually bring her back into Bonnie’s life is not what you think.

Mysterious! So how is Bonnie’s friendship with Elena progressing?
I think the foundation of their relationship is solid, but you will start to see some serious bumps come along where Elena is forced to make decisions based on the facts at hand, and maybe not necessarily the repercussions — and the repercussions might be Bonnie. There are going to be a couple of bumps, and I don’t know how deep those bumps are going to go or how high. You are going to see happy and sad, which I think is normal, but there are going to be certain instances that have never happened before that are going to happen this season with Bonnie and Elena.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ ‘End of the Affair’: Five reasons to watch the 1920s extravaganza

Posted by Angela with No Comments

1. We’ll finally learn why Klaus chose Stefan. There’s a very specific reason why Stefan is currently Klaus’s co-pilot, and when we flash back to the 1920s, we’ll learn what it is about Stefan that appeals so much to Klaus’s inner sociopath. We hope Paul Wesley sent the TVD writers flowers for giving him such dirty, delicious material to work with in this episode.

2. Damon and Elena, in bed together. Hold your horny little horses: All clothes are on. But it does happen, however briefly. (There’s plenty of time for you to screen-grab it and plaster song lyrics on it and pass it all around Tumblr, kids.) Damon also has some of his best lines ever in this episode, and we see some great interaction between him and Klaus.

3. Some new faces… and some old ones. We’ll see a couple characters who have been MIA from Season 3, but more importantly, we’ll meet some very important new characters who will have a pivotal role in Klaus and Stefan’s mission moving forward. One of those characters, as has already been revealed, is Rebekah — and we can’t wait until you all see the chemistry she has with Stefan. The words “burning hot” come to mind.

4. Jewelry is never just jewelry on this show. There are magic rings, magic bracelets… we’re starting to believe Matt’s watch turns humans into unicorns if you wind it right. The vervain necklace that means so much to Elena turns out to be far more important than we realized. In Mystic Falls, when your boyfriend gives you a present, you should probably just assume it’s full of secrets.

5. Caroline will break your heart… in a good way. Candice Accola’s work in this episode is her best ever — yes, best ever. At The CW offices today, we heard plenty of sniffles around the room during more than one of her scenes. As revealed in the teaser trailer, Caroline’s father is going try to “fix” — not kill — her. We won’t give away whether or not he succeeds, but we can say that his actions are incredibly painful to watch. We’re still a little hurty in the heart area. (And yes… Tyler remains adorable.)

Is the vampire diaries close to casting klaus

Posted by camilia with No Comments

The internet was buzzing on who  the show would  cast as Klaus for the hit show , executive producer Julie Plec was able to describe exactly how rigorous the hunt for Klaus was, estimating that more than 100 actors from all over the globe had read for the part.

Plec said that even though a few big names were thrown their way, the goal was to try and find someone who didn’t already have an on-screen identity from other roles, explaining, “This idea that there might be somebody out there that no one’s really familiar with yet that can be a new fresh face that we can exploit…in all the good ways… [is exciting]. I think our show works so well because we don’t really stunt cast.”

Tv guide saids ”

Joseph Morgan is nearing a deal to join The Vampire Diaries as legendary vampire, Klaus, TVLine.com reports.

According to the original casting description, Klaus is handsome, charming, intelligent and the only person who can out-Damon Damon (Ian Somerhalder). The character is often referred to on the sophomore vampire series, because he is one of the Originals. The role would be recurring.

A network rep declined to confirm Morgan’s casting.

The British actor is best known for his roles in 2003′s Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World and 2004′s Alexander. “

what do you think fans , is he a good choice ?  can he succeed as Klaus ? and  Can he out Damon ?

Nina Dobrev of ‘Vampire Diaries’ on getting advice from the ‘True Blood’ cast by EW

Posted by Angela with No Comments

Nina-Dobrev_lThe Vampire Diaries, based on the popular young-adult novels by L.J. Smith, makes its series debut tonight on the CW at 8pm. At July’s Comic-Con in San Diego, EW grabbed one of its stars, onetime Degrassi cast member Nina Dobrev, who talks other fang-based phenomena (Twilight and True Blood), shooting in Atlanta, and the likelihood of on-air nude scenes. Come back Friday to find out our take on the pilot episode.

EW: Did you read the Vampire Diaries books?

ND: I have read the first three books. I’ve been told not to read any further because the creator, Kevin [Williamson], asked us to get the feel for it, read the first couple, but then he wants us to take our own interpretation. My character especially has been changed the most out of anyone because, on a superficial level, I’m not blond and blue-eyed. But other than that, my character, they made her a little more relatable and a little more vulnerable, because they want the audience to feel and relate to her, whereas in the book, she has a little harder edge. She’s a little bit more of a mean girl.
